One of the days, Last week, we were on the way to school. As we pass through a small slow moving gullies of thippasandra, suddenly one young girl child ran in front of our bullet from right to left, hardly 2 metres away.
I freaked breaked and skid, and with out touching that girl. That girl saw us and ran away swiftly from the scene. We both had helmets and it was not a big fall, though my jeans and shirt are torn, of course with minor scratches in my knee.
My daughter and I got up to lift the bike, as she cries in fear, by then 5-6 people came to help us. One of those was a Pourakarmika lady who said “Give her some water” in kannada. I swiftly opened her water bottle asked Amu “wanna drink water?” In tamil. The lady helped us and responded in tamil “go home now, she must be scared”
Now it’s my turn. Amu let’s go home, we fell and it’s late to school.
Amu enthusiastically said.
I’m alright Appa. Let’s go to School.
I kept all the pain myself and went half-mindedly to drop her at school, though she was late to school by 5 Mins.
